News portal Niezalezna(.)pl reports that the deputy head of the Ministry of Culture and Environment announced at a press conference that Germany had been evading responsibility for cleaning up tonnes of waste illegally exported to Poland. They ended up in more than seven locations, he added.
"Today, we are in the vanguard of countries that ensure that waste of dubious origin does not arrive on their territory. Our fight is bearing fruit. I hope that Germany will return to dialogue before the complaint is brought before international courts."
The deputy minister announced that an application with a complaint against Germany is to be prepared and submitted to the CJEU soon.
