More and more election and referendum protests are being submitted to the Supreme Court. Will the court certify the elections?

Wpolityce(.)pl: So far, 826 election protests and 931 protests against the validity of the referendum have been registered in the Supreme Court - the Polish Press Agency found on Monday afternoon. The deadline for submitting protests has already passed, but protests sent by post are still being received.

As Maciej Brzózka from the Supreme Court's press team said, the final number of protests submitted to the Supreme Court will be known in early November. For now, all recorded protests come from voters. None of the submitted protests have been considered yet.

The deadline for filing protests expired on October 25 this year. The court is still receiving letters sent by voters by mail meeting the deadline for filing a protest, the date of the postmark counts.

Polonia News: This suggests that because of so many people filed their election protests, it may have to be repeated.
