Niezalezna(.)pl: The president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, who is visiting the Davos for the World Economic Forum, emphasized that he is often asked to present the situation in Poland.
He said that he talks about the elections that were held in Poland and the situation that developed right after:
"Leaders of other countries are interested in our affairs and ask me about these issues."

"Unfortunately, today we are dealing with a situation in which the new authorities, over the last few weeks, have committed a number of violations of the constitution. Among other things, when it comes to the takeover of public media, which is a violation of the law, even a flagrant one, the courts said, and recently, bypassing the procedure defined by law, in complete violation of the law, in fact also in violation of the constitution, there is an attempt to take over one of the most important state institutions, which is the prosecutor."
The president also announced that his tomorrow's meeting with EU Commissioner Vera Jourova will be organized at her request.
