A TV commentator, Przemysław Babiarz, has been suspended from his duties and will no longer comment on the Olympic Games in Paris. The decision was made immediately after the commentator commented on the event's opening on TVP Sport.
Yesterday, during the official, several-hour-long opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, LGBT ideology was aggressively promoted. Among the performances was a scandalous parody of the Last Supper. Mr. Babiarz commented on the ceremony on the TVP Sports channel, saying: "This is a vision of communism, unfortunately."
Some people watching the broadcast supported Babiarz for his courage. Liberal-leftist commentators, however, were outraged by his words and attacked the journalist. The latter's position was adopted by the Polish Television. The commentator was removed from the Olympic Games.
"Mutual understanding, tolerance, reconciliation - these are not only the basic Olympic ideas, they are also the foundation of the standards that guide the new Polish Television. There is no consent to violate them. After yesterday's scandalous words of Przemysław Babiarz, we inform you that he has been suspended from his official duties and will not comment on the competitions during the Olympic Games."
PN: Well at least we know where the "new" management of public broadcaster stands. If the parody of the Last Supper is an example of "mutual understanding, tolerance, reconciliation" (if you are a Christian, I do not recommend watching the video), what else should we know about those people? My take is that I don't need to watch the Games this year.
