Visegrad24 published a short recording of two evacuated Russian women. Women who left their homes in a hurry said they were fleeing from "mercenaries from Poland." ... "Murderers, Nazis, executioners, Poles, mercenaries from Poland," they said. They emphasized that the soldiers spoke Polish, and the Russian soldier who told them to run confirmed that Poles were attacking them.
(Ukrainian language is very similar to Polish.)
Visegrad24 suggests that the women may have confused the Polish language with the Ukrainian language, which they do not know.
