President Andrzej Duda unveiled in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (the so-called 'American Częstochowa') a monument commemorating Poland's heroes fighting for independence and the heroes of the "Solidarity" movement.
While there he talked about the importance of the Polish community in the upcoming presidential elections and Poland's relations with the US, especially since the Republican candidate Donald Trump posted an entry on the X platform recalling his visit to our country and called President Duda his friend.
Andrzej Duda emphasized that he cannot advise his compatriots in the US who to elect as president, but he appealed to the American Polish community.
I can only encourage them to vote. I am asking them to exercise their right to vote. This is very important, first of all, for building the strength of the potential of the Polish community in the United States. If Poles and the Polish diaspora are to be taken into account, if the American authorities are to take their opinion into account, they will only do so if Poles vote collectively. If they do not participate in the elections, they will not be important to American politicians, so I appeal, dear compatriots, vote in the elections in the United States! – President Duda urged.
