Orders were issued to "destroy" independent presidential candidate

A conservative news portal Wpolityce reports calls from multiple whistle blowers at Polish security agencies that they were ordered to "destroy" the independent conservative candidate Karol Nawrocki running for the presidency.

"An attack on the candidate himself cannot be ruled out, but for now it will be done through arrests, searches, and provocations directed at people who have ever appeared in his circle and in any way, even accidentally," – the informant told the journalist.

"He added that <<the order is clear, brutal and came from the very top.>> As we hear, the pretexts for these actions can be any, they can even be the most absurd - because it is not about defending the charges in court in the future, but about the current media effect."

We can already see the first steps taken: the day before yesterday, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Jacek Dobrzyński, announced the detention in Gdańsk of Olgierd L. (Polish law prohibits media disclosing the names of those who were arrested) who was in contact with Karol Nawrocki.

The arrest followed an online post by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who stated that "taking PiS into account is progressing slower because not everyone in the Coalition has understood that without it there will be no recovery of the Republic of Poland."
