In January, the Central Anticorruption Bureau detained Anna W., her husband Marek W., and Paweł K., the owner of a PR agency. Anna's husband was released. The woman remains in custody; on Thursday, she was taken to the prosecutor's office for questioning with her hands and legs in shackles. The leading prosecutor did not show up, but the media alerted by them did.
"Let this resonate. Mrs. Anna is not aggressive, she has no charges of crimes involving firearms or explosives. Her 13-year-old child tried to commit suicide. They put handcuffs on her legs ONLY to humiliate and break her – the prosecutor did not even come to the hearing! This is what the Bodnar mining arrests are all about," – wrote Paweł Jabłoński, PiS MP.
It was revealed last week that her son indeed attempted to commit suicide.
PN: This is how a democracy in the hands of an EU-supported government looks. In the last 14 months, neither the EU nor the European Parliament has once criticized the current government. The previous one was criticized or sanctioned every week for both 5-year-long terms.
