An attempt to steal election in Poland

The National Research Institute (NASK) issued a statement on Wednesday warning of possible interference in the presidential election. "NASK's Disinformation Analysis Center has identified political ads on the Facebook platform that may be financed from abroad. The materials were displayed in Poland. Advertising accounts involved in the campaign have spent more on political materials in the last 7 days than any election committee," the statement reads.

As Virtual Poland (Wirtualna Polska) journalists have established, the Action Democracy (Akcja Demokracja) foundation is behind the advertisements published online promoting the Civic Coalition candidate for president, Rafał Trzaskowski, and at the same time attacking his main competitors – Karol Nawrocki supported by Law and Justice and Sławomir Mentzen from the Confederation.

Here is a twist, though: NASK is a government controlled entity and for several months it is suspected by opposition parties to be preparing a similar situation we already saw in Romania were even a suspicion of foreign influence on election would be enough not to accept the results if opposition's candidate wins.

What makes it even more interesting is that the independent media already noticed that the Action Democracy has a connection to NASK. Also, George Soros' son has visited Poland in the last few days. Alex Soros took over the chairmanship of the Open Society Foundation, which was at some point financially supported by the USAID (or Biden and Democrats).

All the bad actors show a lot of interest in Polish elections, which means they are very important for the future of not just Poland but an entire Europe.
