Poland's quick reaction to the brazen declaration of Russia.

- The celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II will take place among the countries with which Poland nowadays cooperates for peace based on observance of international law and respect for the sovereignty of states - said the chief of the president's cabinet, Krzysztof Szczerski. Earlier, Russia attacked Poland, accusing it's authorities of a "distorted worldview" due to the lack of invitation to Vladimir Putin for the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.

- We regard it as problematic to refer to historical logic by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the context of September 1939

Apparently Russian government forgot that Soviet Union, in close cooperation with Nazi Germany, invaded eastern part of Poland on September 17 of that year sealing Poland's loss and effectively starting the WWII.
