Poland is easing restrictions

Starting on April 20 some coronavirus restrictions in Poland are either lifted or eased. 

New rules for stores (grocery) and services: for up to 1,100 sq. ft. - 4 people per one cash register.  For bigger stores the rule is 1 person per each 160 sq. ft.

Recreational walking and running is allowed with use of face mask and social distancing (6ft).  The forests and parks are now open.

Participation in religious ceremonies is allowed - 1 person / 160 sq. ft.

Youth above 13 years of age can move around without adult supervision.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki officially sent a letter to the management board of the Polish Post Office regarding the commencement of preparations for vote-by-mail for presidential elections in May.

As of today Poland has 296 new cases and 4 new deaths. The total number of cases is now 8,214 with 318 total deaths, 2,673 people are hospitalized while 138,000 are under quarantine. 26,000 people recovered.
