Poland: many restrictions disappear

Prime Minister Morawiecki announced the opening of the next, second, stage of defrosting the economy: We have taken some control over the coronavirus. Sometimes we accelerate loosening of restrictions, sometimes we may have to take a step back. We are consistently opening the economy, but we do not relax social distance by even an inch. We leave the house for work, shopping and necessary matters in life - he emphasized.

  • Nurseries and kindergartens will open from 6 May. 
  • From May 4, the hotels will open.
  • On May 4, shopping malls will also be open, with stores operating under strict sanitary regime. 
  • Cultural institutions such as museums and libraries will also be partially open on this day.
