The Senate keeps "working" on the presidential elections bill. Their work described as "crawling chaos and anarchy"

No, we are not talking about US Senate. We are talking about Polish Senate run by a Senate Marshall and a member of the "total opposition" party, who by-the-way faces serious accusations of corruption when he was working as a head of cardiology unit and was supposedly taking bribes to personally perform operations. He is now enjoying parliamentary immunity as a senator.

- What the opposition is doing, or rather most of them, is the introduction of creeping chaos and anarchy in Poland, where the image of Poland abroad does not matter, the economy does not matter, but dirty, political games count. We have to do everything we can to ensure that the elections take place as soon as possible - said Ryszard Czarnecki during the on-the-air interview.

On Tuesday, Senate deputy speakers Gabriela Morawska-Stanecka (Left) and Michał Kamiński (Polish Peasants' Party) submitted an amendment to the bill on presidential elections, according to which this law would enter into force not the day after its publication in the Journal of Laws (as adopted by the Sejm) but on August 6.
Such "vacatio legis" (absence of law) would cause the presidential elections to take place after August 6, after the term of office of President Andrzej Duda. It is designed to give the presidential powers to the Marshall of the Senate.
