Poland, coronavirus under control, one region sees increase in cases

Total number of infections in Poland is 27,668. 1,191 people have died. 13,411 patients have already recovered so far. Right now there are about 1,600 in hospitals. The most cases are now  seen in Silesia which is a black coal region and cases are mostly among miners.

- The mines have not been closed, there are working teams maintaining their functionality, but the decision to temporarily suspend the full production of the mines was justified and we want the miners to return to work safely in 3 weeks - said Minister of Health Łukasz Szumowski. He also assessed that there are very few new cases of infection outside of Silesia.
