Polish Ministry of Health reported 5,300 cases of coronavirus infection in last 24 hours. 53 people died.
In addition, the ministry informed that 206,048 people are currently quarantined, and 31,863 are under epidemiological supervision.
The record number of 8,618 infections in one day was announced on Saturday by the Czech Ministry of Health. They have a total of 55,000 of the so-called active cases.
The Czech Republic is under the state of emergency, but not in lockdown.
