Poland: attacks on churches in several cities

The Constitutional Tribunal, in a "full bench", ruled that the provision permitting abortion in the case of the probability of severe and irreversible impairment of the fetus or an incurable disease that threatens its life is inconsistent with the Constitution.

Despite epidemic restrictions, leftist protests against the ruling are ongoing in many Polish cities. On Sunday, they took the form of acts of vandalism, targeted at churches, priests and church goers. The facades of the temples were devastated, and abortionists interrupted the masses.

Even in communist times, these were extreme situations and the communist authorities respected the exterritoriality of the church. The new post-Bolshevik barbarians have no such inhibitions. - Said the editor-in-chief of one of the conservative newspapers.

On Sunday, a total of 226 illegal gatherings and gatherings of various sizes were held throughout the country, which were secured by police officers, said the spokesman of the Police Headquarters, Mariusz Ciarka. He added that a total of 142 tickets were given in connection with the crowds and 281 cases were sent to the court system.
