Poland: Phone app to help diagnose the infected - without visiting a doctor

The COVID.Termini.app application has been created, which will help diagnose patients infected with coronavirus without the need to visit a doctor, informed the Medical University of Warsaw.

After registration, the user enters three data: the reading of the pulse oximeter, the subjective assessment of perceived dyspnea (on a scale of 1 to 10) and body temperature. The patient then needs to add information about the number of breaths per minute and the pulse rate. The data will be automatically sent to a doctor or paramedic.

"The main goal we set for ourselves is to relieve the Polish health care system by automating activities at certain levels of patient care. The application will help to select people who may already be infected, even if they do not feel any symptoms of infection yet. It will also indicate whether a patient needs direct consultation. or he can stay at home, where his condition will be monitored on an ongoing basis."
