 Germany is currently one of the countries most affected by the pandemic in the world. In terms of the death rate, it is worse there than in the US. Germany is approaching 11 deaths per million inhabitants. 

According to the Tagesspiegel daily, more people die in Germany from the coronavirus than in the United States, even though many more people are infected in the United States. 

According to the US Johns Hopkins University in the US, just over ten people die from or from COVID-19 since Wednesday, per million inhabitants. In Europe, it is 7.5 per million inhabitants. The death rate per confirmed coronavirus infection is now higher in Germany than in the US.
