Poland: Over 9,000 new cases of Covid-19, 381 people died, almost 370,000 vaccinated


Ministry of Health confirmed 9,436 new cases of coronavirus infection. In the last 24 hours, 381 people have died. Due to the coronavirus, 16,250 people who have been confirmed to be infected are in hospitals. There are 1,630 patients under a respirator. 

The ministry announced that 31,690 beds and 2,946 ventilators are prepared for COVID-19 patients. This means there are 15,440 vacant beds for COVID-19 patients and 1,316 ventilators across the country. 

The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Poland has reached 1,414,362, of which 32,456 died. 

So far, 369,212 people have been vaccinated in Poland. One million eighty thousand six hundred doses of the vaccine have been delivered to the country, half of which are reserved for the second doses. Only 64 people had adverse reactions to the vaccination. 

The registration for seniors, 80 and over, will open tomorrow (15th). On January 22, the registration for seniors, 70 plus, will open.
