The European Commission urges the Polish parliament to ratify the Reconstruction Fund

The European Commission is urging the Polish parliament to ratify the Reconstruction Fund. Brussels sent a letter on this matter to the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate.

The letter signed by the Vice-President of the European Commission, Maros Sefcovic and the Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Johannes Hahn, was revealed by the web portal wPolityce.pl. The authors of the letter encourage Marshals Elżbieta Witek and Tomasz Grodzki to adopt the Reconstruction Fund as soon as possible by the Sejm and Senate.

... we would be grateful for your continued full support so that the ratification of the decision per Polish constitutional requirements could be completed as soon as possible.

The approval of the decision by the national parliaments will confirm the democratic legitimacy of this innovative proposal.
