According to data published by Eurostat on Thursday, Poland had the lowest unemployment in the EU in January, which amounted to 3.1%. The Czech Republic was in second place with unemployment at 3.2 percent, and the third - the Netherlands with 3.6 percent. The highest unemployment in January was in Spain - 16 percent.
The head of government announced on Facebook that Poland has a chance in the fourth quarter of this year to break the economic growth before the coronavirus pandemic.
- Poland will not only have no recession but will also see a strong economic rebound - I think at least around 4 percent. GDP - said Mateusz Morawiecki.
