Poland calls on Germany to give up Nord Stream 2

Nord Stream 2 is a German-Russian project destabilizing Europe; we call on Germany to resign from this project, said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki after meeting with the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Janez Jansza.

Morawiecki emphasized at a joint conference with the head of the Slovenian government that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is a topic that is still a "wound" in Europe and "should be dealt with so that European solidarity does not suffer".

"We call on Germany to give up this project, to stop further contributing to the actual destabilization in this part of Europe. It may be very dangerous for the European Union and many countries in the region" - he appealed.
