Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki calls for the release of patents for vaccines against COVID-19. - Vaccines must also be provided for the poorer countries of the south of our globe. We do not want to allow the fourth wave or make it as small as possible, - said the head of the Polish government today. The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, welcomed Morawiecki's position.

Today, during a press conference before the departure to Porto, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki pointed to the need for free access to patents for the production of vaccines.

- Finally, I will definitely say aloud about a change needed and which I spoke about a few months ago, namely the free admission of patents for COVID-19 vaccines to all those who have the technological capacity to produce and use their technical lines for production vaccines - said Morawiecki.
