Poland Became a Deep-Pocketed Production Paradise

The Hollywood Reporter reports about Poland’s success in attracting both streaming and filmmaking producers.

With Netflix investing heavily in the country’s vibrant filmmaking culture (remember the sex-drenched pandemic sensation '365 Days’?), the Eastern European powerhouse is now looking to expand its global profile by targeting the international film world.

I never watched 365 Days, and I think it’s a good thing, but I am glad that it helped place Polish cinema on the world map.

It is an interesting article. I highly recommend it.

BTW, I just saw that the second season of the show The Mire is available on Netflix. I can’t wait to start watching it, hopefully, in a civilized matter and not binge-watching.
