The Three Seas Summit begins tomorrow


 The upcoming Summit of the Three Seas Initiative, hosted by Bulgaria, will define its place in Europe recovering from the pandemic and in the new shape of transatlantic relations.

"The task of this summit is to discuss the place of the Three Seas in the new shape of transatlantic relations. This summit is also intended to show the place of 'Three Seas' as a concept that fits perfectly with assumptions of recovery of the European economy after the pandemic," said the Minister in the President Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Krzysztof Szczerski.

He also informed that during the Bulgarian summit, the presidents of the Three Seas Initiative would adopt a declaration which "assumes the preparation of two reports strategically positioning the Three Seas in Europe and relations with the US in the coming year."

The Three Seas Business Forum will be held on the first day of the event, political discussions will mark the second day. During the Summit, Bulgaria will hand over the Tri-Sea Presidency to Latvia. 

Szczerski also emphasized that the partners of the Three Seas Initiative will be joined by Greece, France, Great Britain, and Japan.
