President of Poland: "I am absolutely against compulsory vaccination"

Today, the Cabinet Council meet at the Presidential Palace. It was dedicated to the start of the new school year.

During the meeting, President Duda expresses his clear stance on the vaccinations issue.

"I am absolutely against compulsory vaccination. I believe that this will cause social unrest, it is a matter of people's responsibility and everyone should bear this responsibility alone" - said Duda.

"Whether the parent decides to consent for the child being vaccinated, or whether the parent decides to vaccinate himself - everyone should make such a decision personally" - added the president.

At the same time, he emphasized that it was the obligation of the Polish state to provide everyone with the possibility of being vaccinated.

"We must have a vaccine for every citizen. It is our duty as state authorities - to create this possibility for everyone to be vaccinated, but not to force them" - said Duda.
