Warsaw Uprising Calendar: August 31 - failed attempts to evacuate from Old Town

 - Unsuccessful attempt of the "North" Group of the Home Army to break through from the Old Town to Downtown, around 300 wounded and killed. 

- 1,000 people died in the raid in the Church of the Sacraments in the New Town. 

- 300 victims of the bombing of the Simons Passage. 

- The Germans deported over 3,100 prisoners of the camp in Pruszków to KL Stutthof concentration camp, among them Warsaw insurgents.
