Polish government is fighting high energy prices by cutting taxes

 Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced a reduction in fuel prices from December 20 for 5 months. The amount of excise duty will be reduced to the minimum level allowed in the EU.

"Today we are proposing a large program of tax cuts that will benefit people to alleviate the effects of inflation," - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Thursday.
