Polish Territorial Defense Forces are preparing to support the Border Guard


 On Monday morning, the spokesman of the minister coordinator for the special services, Stanisław Żaryn, informed about a large group of migrants planning to cross the Belarusian border with Poland. 

We are raising the readiness of our forces in response to the aggressive actions of the Belarusian side - escorting thousands of people towards the Polish border - Colonel Pietrzak wrote on Twitter on Monday.

"More than 12,000 soldiers are on duty at the border. We have raised the readiness of the Territorial Defense Forces (eq. National Guard). Together with the Ministry of Interior and Administration, we are prepared to defend the Polish border," - Minister Mariusz Błaszczak wrote on Twitter on Monday.
