The Primate of the Polish Church will visit Ukraine


 The chairman of the Polish Bishops' Conference, Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki, the Primate of Poland, Archbishop Wojciech Polak, and the Archbishop of Lublin, Stanisław Budzik, will visit Lviv and Kyiv. The stay is planned from 17 to 20 May, and its purpose is to show solidarity and support for Ukraine.

On May 18 in Lviv, a meeting is planned with the Archbishop Mieczysław Mokrzycki of the Lviv Archdiocese of the Ukrainian Roman Catholic Church and the Archbishop Ihor Woźniak of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

The next day, the hierarchs will meet the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the major archbishop of Kiev-Halych, Sviatoslav Szewczuk, the bishop of the Kiev-Zhytomyr diocese, Witalij Krzywycki, and the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Epiphanius. The delegation will also visit the St. Sophia Cathedral and the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ UKGK. A visit to Irpień and Bucza is also planned.
