Polish tennis player, Iga Świątek, the leader of the world ranking, defeated the 18-year-old American in the finals for the second time winning the French Open in Paris; previously in 2020. One of the first people to congratulate her was Robert Lewandowski, who was present in the stands.
In her speech, she also addressed the Ukrainians.
