French President Emmanuel Macron may visit Kyiv next week, the NEXTA website reports. Information about the possible visit to the Ukrainian capital was reported after the daily "Le Figaro".
On Friday morning, NEXTA also announced that President Emmanuel Macron had talked with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In the telephone conversation between the presidents, among other things, the topic of arms supplies to Ukraine was raised. French President Emmanuel Macron was to assure that Paris was ready to increase the supply of weapons, including heavy equipment.
The French president and German chancellor Olaf Scholz are criticized in connection with subsequent talks with the Russian president Vladimir Putin. The last joint conversation between the three politicians took place on May 28 and, according to the media, was to last 80 minutes. It was reported by the German "Zeit" and confirmed by the press service of the Kremlin, as well as by a representative of the German authorities.
