Russia's disinformation campaign against Poland

Sergey Lavrov continues his disinformation efforts against Poland. In his last statement, he falsely stated that Poland is taking over the territory of Ukraine and is an obstacle in the Russia-Ukraine peace talks.

"In his last statement, he falsely stated that Poland is taking over the territory of Ukraine and is an obstacle in the Russia-Ukraine peace talks," - said the spokesman of the minister coordinator of secret services, Stanisław Żaryn. He quotes Lavrov saying: "Now, we can see that after talking about the inadmissibility of any dialogue with Russia, Polish colleagues are starting to actively take control of the territory of Ukraine."

In recent days, Poland has also been accused of aggressive plans toward Ukraine by Dmitry Belik, a member of the State Duma, who expressed the conviction that "Poland methodically stretches out its hands for Ukrainian territories."

For several weeks, a similar conviction has been expressed by other representatives of the Russian establishment implementing the assumptions of the Kremlin's information war against Poland and the West.

That this was to show that "Poland in fact, has plans that are dangerous towards Ukraine, threatening the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine." Spreading the information space with false narratives serves the purposes of the Kremlin's policy, which includes destroying good relations between Warsaw and Kyiv.
