Financial assistance in the EU? Yes, but only for Germans and French

Niezalezna(.)pl: Zdzisław Krasnodębski, MEP from Law & Justice (PiS), drew attention to the gross financial injustice in the EU.

- In the last 7 months, the European Commission approved state aid, of which 52 percent went to Germany, and 37 percent to France. This means that those two member states received 90 percent of all aid - said Krasnodębski.

- For comparison: 3.7 percent went to Italy, 2.1 percent to Spain, and 1.7 percent to Poland, - he noted.

The Polish politician admitted that it is difficult to accept the idea that Germany suffers more from the war in Ukraine than Poland, but they receive much more support. "Where is the equal opportunity here?" - asked professor Krasnodębski.

He added that although state aid is a temporary mechanism, it could lead to distortions in the market that will last for decades.
