Traffic on the Russian bridge leading to the annexed Crimea is completely stopped, and large queues are forming at gas stations on the peninsula, the Ukrainian agency Ukrinform informs on Saturday. The Russians say that two sections of the bridge have partially collapsed.
The Ukrainian agency UNIAN cites a statement by the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAK) that a truck exploded on the bridge. "This led to the fire of seven fuel tanks in the train depot. Two car sections of the bridge partially collapsed."
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian railways on the annexed peninsula have announced that they are stopping vehicle traffic, and that the car part of the bridge has been suspended.
