The EU and the UK bought more LNG from Russia than before the war


 News portal Dorzeczy: According to data from the market research company ICIS, Europe imports a record amount of liquefied natural gas from Russia. 13 percent of Europe's LNG imports now come from Russia, and the volume is growing rapidly. Compared to last year, the EU and the UK bought around 21 percent more LNG from Russia than before Russia invaded Ukraine.

It is estimated that European countries paid Moscow almost 27 billion euros for LNG from January to November, according to the German business daily Handelsblatt.
