Niezalezna(.)pl: Yesterday, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, together with the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nauseda, paid a visit to Kiev in connection with the 27th anniversary of the adoption by the Supreme Council of Ukraine of the constitution in 1996.
President Duda returned to the country on the night from Wednesday to Thursday and at the railway station in Przemyśl gave a statement for the media summarizing the meeting.
"Another trip to Kiev has come to an end (...) I am very happy that we were able to celebrate their Constitution Day, an important holiday, together with our neighbors. Let me remind you that a few years ago, when we had the 230th anniversary of the Constitution On May 3, we celebrated it as an important event for us. The presidents of the countries of the former Republic of Poland, our neighbors today, including the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, were with us in Warsaw then."
The president stressed that "it was also a day of very important political talks held in Kiev on the upcoming NATO summit, support for Ukraine, and the international situation."
