Niezalezna(.)pl: The camp of Wagner Group's soldiers in Belarus creates a possibility of provocation on the country's borders with NATO countries - Poland and Lithuania. The Polish and Lithuanian Ministries of the Interior do not exclude the complete closure of the borders with Belarus.
“Lithuania and Poland are considering jointly closing the border with Belarus in case of serious incidents involving soldiers of the Russian mercenary Wagner Group,” Lithuanian Deputy Interior Minister Arnoldas Abramaviczius said today.
Abramaviczius reminded that there are about 1,200 mercenaries in Belarus, and almost all of them are at the training ground in Osipowicze (close to the border).
According to the deputy minister, the presence of the Wagnerians "does not constitute a military threat," but "the possibility of provocation exists."
