Referendum not only on migrants? A new question has been proposed

In June, the governing party, Law and Justice (PiS) announced that the issue of relocation of migrants in the European Union must be decided in a referendum. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed the intention to hold the referendum together with the parliamentary elections scheduled for autumn.

Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Małgorzata Gosiewska, when asked if she saw the need to add another question to the planned referendum on the relocation of immigrants, replied that "there are matters worth asking about". - "For example, the issue of the supremacy of the Polish constitution over EU law. (...) There are attempts to question it, they are trying to force us to be subordinate in this respect. So haveand to decide what is more important, EU law or our own constitution" - she said .
