A Polish astronaut will participate in a mission on the International Space Station (ISS), Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda told PAP on Wednesday. The astronaut will be testing advanced technologies of Polish enterprises and carrying out experiments.
"In addition to testing Polish technology in low Earth orbit, there will also be an educational aspect to this mission. The lessons broadcast from the ISS, conducted by a Polish astronaut, will reach thousands of Polish students and hopefully will translate into greater interest in space among young Poles," - noted Deputy Minister Kamila Król.
