The "democratic" coalition that won a majority of votes in the Polish parliament wants to disband the Central Anticorruption Bureau

Niezalezna: Politicians from the Civic Coalition, Third Way and the Left - formations that may form the future government - want the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA) to be liquidated.

Immediately after the announcement of the election results, an attack was launched against the above-mentioned formation, both by the opposition and the media supporting them. The head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, announced that the case had been reported to the prosecutor's office.

CBA is credited with successfully stopping organized crime and tax fraud which allowed Poland a successful fight with the aftermath of Covid-19 pandemic.

It is worth adding that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has repeatedly spoken about combating the activities of the VAT mafia in Poland. The head of the Polish government emphasized that thanks to the suppression of illegal practices, money for the pillar Law and Justice programs appeared in the state budget.
