Minister of Justice / Prosecutor General, Adam Bodnar, under investigation

Niezalezna(.)pl: The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw initiated an investigation into the abuse of powers by public officials, including the Minister of Justice - Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar, by taking illegal actions aimed at dismissing Dariusz Barski from the position of National Prosecutor.

The deputy prosecutors general had submitted a notification signed by seven prosecutors: Michał Ostrowski, Beata Marczak (Deputy Prosecutor General for Organized Crime and Corruption), Krzysztof Sierak, Robert Hernand, Krzysztof Urbaniak, Tomasz Janeczek (Deputy Prosecutor General for Military Affairs) and Andrzej Pozorski (Deputy Prosecutor General of the Director of the Main Commission Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation).

"In the matter of exceeding the powers of public officials, including the Minister of Justice - Prosecutor General, by taking illegal actions aimed at dismissing Dariusz Barski from the position of National Prosecutor. ... It was an action taken to the detriment of public and private interest," says the prosecutor's office.
