Polish farmers started nationwide protests. EU's climate policies went too far

Niezalezna(.)pl: Today, at noon, a nationwide protest by farmers began in Poland against the uncontrolled import of agricultural products from Ukraine, as well as the imposition of further environmental restrictions resulting from the European Green Deal.

The mass protests in many EU countries result from the EU's climate policy. A very strict restrictions are placed on farmers, which reduces their competitiveness.

As MEP Ryszard Czarnecki notes, the EU's climate policy is felt not only by industry but also by the farmers. Hence, the protests will continue in many EU countries.
