Tomorrow, farmers will march to Warsaw

On February 27, a "starry march" to Warsaw will be held by protesting farmers. The most important demands from farmers include simplifying and limiting the requirements of the Green Deal, limiting the excessive inflow of agri-food products from Ukraine, and improving the profitability of agricultural production.

"I think that Donald Tusk is doing everything not to speak out on this issue because I have not seen any will on his part to deal with the farmers' protest. I know that he has been skiing so far. Now, he is back in Warsaw and is conducting some talks. He is doing everything to avoid topics related to it," – said Krzysztof Ciecióra from Law and Justice.

"Farmers are protesting, taking into account their own interests, but also the interests of the entire country. Today, we need to look for effective ways to help end the crisis. We need to act. Quickly solving the problems should be of interest to everyone who cares about Polish affairs today. An embargo (on Ukrainian products) is a necessity," said former PM Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on the X.
"And including the border crossings with Ukraine on the list of critical infrastructure is nothing more than escalation. It is a forcible blockade of the protest, not its solution" – he concluded.
