Von der Leyen "impressed by Tusk's efforts." She announced the release of EUR 137 billion

Niezalezna(.)pl: President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, is visiting Poland today.

After talks with Donald Tusk at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, she announced that "in next week, two decisions will be made regarding European funds that are blocked for Poland." She said it was EUR 137 billion for Poland from the Reconstruction and Cohesion Fund.

Apparently, multiple violations of Poland's constitution is what the EU wanted to see and got from Donald Tusk's government.

It is worth pointing out that freezing those assets was the main reason the Law and Justice lost the elections.
