Another farmers' protest will take place on March 20, 2024. Roadblocks will be organized throughout Poland, as well as blockades of provincial and district cities. There are also plans to block the border with Germany in Świecko. The first lockdown starts today.
Farmers emphasize that they have to protest because their situation is extremely difficult, and the government is doing nothing. Last week's meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk ended in failure. Farmers are demanding the abandonment of the Green Deal and the introduction of an embargo on agri-food products from Ukraine. They also demand the abolishment of the EU's ideas to limit or completely eliminate animal breeding.
