Happy Constitution Day! First in Europe, second in the World

"233 years ago, when Poland adopted the first modern constitution in Europe, the friendship between our nations was already well established," said the head of American diplomacy, Antony Blinken, in his wishes to Poland on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Poland.

“This friendship, based on family ties and shared values, has never been so solid. We pay tribute to Poland for its leadership in NATO, its multilateral and decisive support for Ukraine, and its commitment to defending democracy, the rule of law and human rights," – wrote Blinken.

Sadly, today, news broke out that the current government, steadfastly supported by the "rule-of-law" loving European Commission, is planning to "reform" the special services (Anti Corruption Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation, Counter Intelligence, and others) and every single paragraph of this reform is unconstitutional.

Freedom of speech and the rights of the accused would be violated. The bill would also equate the services' surveillance activities "with those strictly defined in the Code of Criminal Procedure" and "ensure the impunity of officers in the activities they perform."

Sad. Very sad situation.

Hopefully, now that we know about it, we can stop it.
