Sorry about the misleading title. This post has nothing to do with illegal crossings of the US border. It's about migrants being driven in from Germany to Poland, similar to bussing migrants from Texas to NYC. When the migrants arrive in Germany, the authorities decide that they most likely came from Poland, so there they go in police vans and cruisers.
According to Niezalezna, from January 1 to May 30, 2024, Germany has already expelled 4,506 people from countries outside the European Union to Poland, as reported by journalist Aleksandra Fedorska. In May alone, the Germans "bussed" as many as 928 people to Poland.
The Polish government officially claims that it had no idea that it was taking place and that it is illegal, but considering what is happening on the Eastern border, it is hard to believe anything they say. The current opposition claims that PM Tusk owes Germany his seat, so he is repaying them for the favor. Nothing Tusk has done in the last six months, not a single decision, disproves this theory.
