Just two months ago, the current head of the Ministry of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, promised: "All efforts and resources are directed towards starting this production as soon as possible. We are talking about another executive contract for 180 K2 tanks, which we want to sign in Kielce during the fair. "The goal is that these tanks will be produced in Poland."
Today's publication of daily newspaper "Rzeczpospolita" (Republic) shows that, contrary to the announcements, the contract for further deliveries of K2 tanks will not be signed any time soon. But that's not all. Plans to produce Korean tanks in Poland are also in question.
According to the daily, this week, the Korean delegation spent two days in Warsaw negotiating with the Armament Agency. Although Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that 'tanks from this tranche are to be produced in Poland', it is already known that this will not come to fruition...
PN: This is a huge scandal, and the worst thing is that this development makes Poland weak and unprepared in light of the possibility of Russian aggression. But, what if that is an actual goal of some politicians in the current government? There won't be any proof of treasonous actions, just incompetence.
