August 31 is a day of the Jasna Góra Harvest Festival and the pilgrimage peak to the monastery. The Equality March was registered at the City Hall in Częstochowa as a gathering for 200 people.
The spokesman for Jasna Góra, did not comment on the issue of the Equality March. But, Dr. Artur Dąbrowski - president of the Catholic Action of the Archdiocese of Częstochowa, calls it a provocation.
Once again, the LGBT community and the Częstochowa extreme Left want to shine. Their activists are aware that they do not exist without provocation. This event was doomed not to attract media attention if it wasn't for the location of the parade, which is Jasna Góra.
Catholic Action is organizing that day a prayer meeting:
We invite everyone who cares about Poland, faith, Catholic values in the public sphere, and those who want to stop attacks on Catholics.
We do not want to allow the Jasna Góra sanctuary to be desecrated, and we want to prevent blasphemy and desecration of the holy image. August 31 is the 640th anniversary of the placing of the image of Our Lady at Jasna Góra. The city authorities' consent to the Equality March during the Jasna Góra Harvest Festival is a provocation and a scandal. It promotes bad behavior.
